WILLOW WARE rushed boldly to enter contending position on the final turn and closed with good energy. WISE BALLA broke alertly, dropped back, was steadied until the final quarter, rallied mildly, but was unable to menace. TINA LAZAR was used up forcing the pace. COTTON BUD, forwardly placed, lacked a rally when roused ZIPPER went evenly. ODDS ADVANCE raced in spots, coming inside and failing to make up any ground in the drive. MALIANNE showed nothing. WIDE REQUEST retired steadily after brief speed.
