Iselin Horse Runs Second I Special to Daily Racing Form NEWMARKET, England, June 29 Reu- ters .Acquittal, two-year-old colt by Fair H Trial, out of the Hyperion mare, Vestal, nearly gave Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin of theH United States her first British winner here H today. A 10-to-l chance with Harry CarrH riding, appeared a certain winner in the Herringswell Maiden States at six furlongs H in a field of 34 until Manny Mercer chal-B lenged with the 10Q-to-7 chance, PriddingB Hill. Mercer drove his mount in to beat the American-owned colt a short head in a photo finish. Lord Nithfields 33-to-lB outsider, Midwest, was two lengths backH in third place. Acquittal, a classically breH chestnut is trained by Capt. Cecil Boyd-H Rochfort and seems likely to win a goocH race for Mrs. Iselin in the near future.
