Gano. IN GATE 2:01 J. OFF AT 2:01J CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won easily; second and third driving. MRS. MARK moved up fast on the outside after leaving the backstretch and, challenging successfully on the outside after entering the last furlong, drew away thereafter. ALSPAL was off slowly, but rushed into contention on the inside, then raced close to MISS OLYMPIA most of the way and outfinished the latter. MISS OLYMPIA showed good speed in making the pace and held on fairly well in the final drive. LADY ALORTER was going fairly well at the finish. RELIC while the latter Was making the pace, then went to the front a furlong out and drew away thereafter. MISS FLAMINGO was outrun early, but gained ground gradually in the last quarter and was racing well at the end. CALORIMETER broke slowly and was in rather tight quarters early, but worked her way up gradually and was racing well at the end. HOOSIER RELIC tired in the last eighth. MON BAISER also tired in the stretch. HIGH DRIFT was close enough early, but weakened. BABY TUCKY, off well, was soon headed by MARK KLAINE but remained close to the latter while racing next the rail and, taking a good lead when the pacemaker went wide on the stretch turn, was not in danger until the final thirty yards when BLUE BOY loomed as a threat. The latter was never too far from the pace and, closing fast under hard urging in the middle of the track, was gaining rapidly. WILLIAM MORTON was- outpaced to the stretch, then came with good courage. MARK KLAINE had good early speed, but bore out badly on the stretch turn to lose his chance. LOVIN LADY was under restraint for a half mile, then moved up on the inside rounding the stretch turn, but was steered to the outside at midstretch and passed TRYCALLING to win under hustling riding. SNOW SOX moved up on the inside nearing the stretch turn but was unable to find an opening, then came to the outside and finished gamely in the middle of the track. TRY-BALLING showed good early speed and held on fairly well after racing TENACIOUS ACE into submission. BLACK WIDOW was badly outrun in the first part and came strongly when too late. VALIDITY was unable to keep up. TENACIOUS ACE had good speed for six furlongs, then began to weaken. Overweight Lovin Lady, 1 pound. SATISFIED was never too far from the pace, and coming fast well out from the rail in the stretch, got to the front entering the last sixteenth, but was doing her best to hold COW TOWN. The latter lacked early speed and was rather badly outrun to the stretch, but was wearing down the winner at the end. FAST BUCK displayed good early speed and led into the stretch despite going wide on the turn, then continued gamely after being headed. UNCLE TOM failed to threaten but was racing steadily at the end. WHIRL AWHILE had fair speed while racing on the outside. INDOLENCE weakened after racing up to the leaders in the stretch. GALA FETE soon sped to the front from the outside post position and opened up a good lead nearing the far turn, then was permitted to race freely and widened her margin nearing the stretch turn, but was doing her best at the end. ARAB ACTRESS dropped some distance back of the pacesetter in the first three-eighths, then came to the outside in the stretch to finish full of run and was wearing down the winner. ESPEDECO was always a good contender and went steadily to the end in an excellent effort. SPRING KHAL was a forward factor throughout and finished steadily. STEAK BONE had the most early speed, but had little left for the final drive. SILVER K was required to race wide on the stretch turn and weakened. DAX finished fast. PLATITUDE saved ground in the stretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. A-PACOPEP made a mild move nearing the stretch turn, but lacked for racing room and was not dangerous. QUICK MISSION went to the front at once and was well rated while making the pace, but was not good enough. CRANBROOK wasbadly outrun to the final quarter, then came fast.
