Lefty James Topweight In Two Handicap Events Houssels Star Assigned 125 for Ak-Sar-Ben and 127 for Omaha AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 29. Weights were released for the coming Omaha and Ak-Sar-Ben handicaps, the most important events of the 35-day meeting. The Omaha is a test for three-year-olds and upward for a purse of ,100 added and will be run over the six furlongs course on Saturday. The 0,200 offered as reward for th,e mile and sixteenth Ak-Sar-Ben Handicap is the largest purse to be given at the Omaha plant. Lefty James, the reigning champion at Ak-Sar-Ben, was given high weight honors in both events. In the Omaha he will carry 127 pounds, 11 pounds above the next in line, Mac, 116 pounds. The Houssels runner will be asked to carry 125 pounds in the mile and sixteenth Ak-Sar-Ben Handicap, which will be decided Monday.
