Closing of Three Detroit Stakes DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 29. Racing secretary-handi-capper Charles J. McLennan, of the Michi-gain Racing Association, calls attention of turfmen to the closing of three stakes. The Governors Stakes, a six-furlong spin for tv;o-year-olds, closes for entries Saturday, July 3; the Michigan Futurity, five and one-half furlongs for juveniles foaled in the Wolverine State, closes July 7, while entries for the Frontier Handicap, one mile and one-quarter for three-year-olds and upward, must be in Saturday, July 10. 4 ..-.,,
