Hoplite Leads Route Series DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 9.— Mrs. Priscilla M. Mitchells Hoplite, with a first and a second in the two runnings in the series .of five Montchanin Handicaps, has taken the point lead in the ,500 award for the winner of distance series. Hoplite accounted* for the mile and a sixteenth Montchanin and was runnerup to Milford H. Dinkers Alford at a mile and a furlong on Wednesday. The point score stands: Hoplite. 36; Alford, 24; Frank A. OKeefes My Truly Fair, 12; Elkcam Stables G-Two, 6; Ella K. Brysons Plenary, 6; Errol B. Stewarts Fleet Argo, and Mrs. M. L.
