Klebergs King Ranch star, High Gun, is among the 44 declared -first accepters today for the King George VI. and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Britains richest turf prize to be run over 12 furlongs on the Royal Ascot heath, Berkshire, the afternoon of July 16. Notables, among the 38 which declared the forfeit are J alien DeCrions tough mare, Banassa, runner-up to C. ,V. Whitneys Fisherman in the third Washington, D. C, International at Laurel Park last fall, Lady Zia Wernhers One Thousand Guineas winner and Epsom Oaks heroine, Meid, David Robinsons Two Thousand Guineas classic victor, Our Baby; Olean n., star of Marcel Boussacs French stable, and Queen Elizabeths two nominees, Alexander and Sierra Nevada. - Among those left in are the Epsom Derby placed trio, Phil Drake, Panaslipper and Acropolis, the 1953 Irish Derby winner Chamier, Frances Prix de lArc de Tri-omphe victor, Sica Boy; . and Narrator, Newmarkets Champion Stakes and Epsoms Coronation Cup winner.
