OFF AT 2:06 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. .Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. SCRIPT BAR moved up on the inside nearing the stretch turn, and coming to the inside in the last eighth, rushed up to find an opening and get to the front in the last twenty yards. LOMITAS TIME set the pace and held on well after racing LE SABRE into submission. FREE TOO found an opening between the leaders after entering the stretch, then seemed to weaken slightly near the end. COTTON TOP was going fairly well at the finish. LE SABRE tired. DAX had some early speed. MARKET TIP was badly outpaced early and went wide in the stretch. Overweight— Dax, 2 pounds; Coat of Mail, 1. SECOND RACE 1 MILE out of chute. BAD MARGIE raced up strongly on the outside nearing the stretch turn and made a show of her rivals in the stretch, taking command easily to win in hand. SPRING-BACK liked the going and raced well up to be clearly best of the others. IMPERIAL JAY had something removed while setting the pace and had little left. GAMMAW was in and out during the stretch run and failed to threaten. LAYDOWN made a good move around the stretch turn, then tired. SARAGINO soon, went to the front, was taken under slight restraint after having drawn into a good lead and had enough left at the end to hold ANTEBABE, but had to go all out to do so. ANTEBABE was the strongest contender most of the~way and was gradually gaining on the inside at the.finish. MANY FAULTS dropped back suddenly after -breaking fairly well and closed ground in the stretch. PRESIDENT RYAN- went evenly but was never dangerous. CORONA LARK and NO STORY had some early foot. COW BOY, off forwardly, continued gamely after • being headed on the backstretch, and again taking command on the stretch turn, saved ground and was not seriously threatened coming to the end. SMUGSY WUGSY was outrun for half the trip, but came fast through the stretch. MIGHTY TOM was far back for a guarter, then gained gradually and might have been dangerous but for bearing out badly in the final furlcng. ASKING was not dangerous. BIG STEP was outrun all the way. HI JET, a forward factor from the- start, moved up to LOWILL on the inside after entering the stretch and, getting to the front a furlong out, increased his margin gradually. -LOWILL had the most early speed and resisted fairly weli when challenged. VALAIRE made up some ground to be easily "best of the others. ALIBILT lacked early speed but was going fairly well at the end. SISTERS ALIBI was a contender for half the distance then tired. FAIR SONG followed the pace of PUSSY CAT closely for a half mile, then went to the front, and although seriously challenged by PASATIEMPO in the last sixteenth, held the latter to the end. PASATIEMPO moved strongly on the outside after entering the stretch and appeared a certainty to catch the leader, but hung in the final drive. PARIS FLEET was fairly well up throughout in steady effort. JUST JUDY was too far out of it in the first part, and although closing considerable ground, was not dangerous. CULLERTON was outpaced. ATTAVAR raced very wide the opening half mile, but improved position to easily take command entering the stretch and won with speed in reserve. CLOUDY DAY made up much ground and was gaining on the leader at the end. LYNNDIANE was fairly well, up early and attained second place after entering the stretch, but faltered in the final drive. KISSIN KATE had. early speed, then tired. CHALLCOTE closed some ground. COFFEYVILLE and BLUE FAY tired badly. CARLS ABBiE bled.
