Wickes, chemist, and Loyal M, Germaine, presiding judge at Lebanon. They were questioned by William A.t Carroll, assistant attorney general, and Ed Hackett of the United States Trotting Association. * ; Heretofore, the Ohio board has permitted the USTA to act in such matters. Hackett said his organization conducts hearings and acts in such cases only when the commission declines to do so. He addedg| that the USTA will honor the Commissions ruling; Zoltan Gombos, chairman of the Com mission, said that hereafter his group will • take a more prominent part in the super-., vision of harness racing in the state. He explained that the DeWine hearing and suspension "was only the beginning." JB
