Houbregs Signs With Pistons FORT WAYNE, Ind., June 9 UP.— The Fort Wayne Pistons of the National Basketball Association announced today they have signed Bob Houbregs as the first of the 1954-55 seasons Piston veter- ans to agree to terms for the next season. Haubregs came to Fort Wayne via the waiver route last December and was used as a replacement for center Larry Foust. He was drafted by Boston when Baltimore withdrew from the league and became per- manent property of the Pistons a month ago, when rights to his contract were purchased.
