Two VillanoYa Grid Aids Quit to Rejoin Pro Ranks VILLANOVA, Pa., June 9 UP.— End coach Ken Kavanaugh and line coach Otis Douglas resigned from the Villanova University football coaching staff today to return to professional football in similar positions. Kavanaugh, one-time Chicago Bears great, will join the New York Giants as end coach, and Douglas, former head coach at the University of Arkansas, will become line coach with the Chicago Cardinals. Two months ago, Villanova backfield coach Bob Snyder resigned to take a similar job with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
