The latter had his speed, raced slightly wide and succumbed readily to Wz winner. PUNKS PRIDE passed only tiring horses. MI-CORVETTE was always outrun. MIJI BULL broke tardily and was void of speed throughout. GUNDI reared in the air at the start. SKY BIM, never far back, was sent up along the outside when ready to wrest down PEGGY D. on entering the stretch and was under pressure to draw clear RAYS PRIDE improved his position when called upon but could not seriously threaten the winner. PEGGY D. gave way suddenly after making the pace to the early stretch. ROYAL WITCH had no apparent excuse in an even effort. NICKS GAL was void of early speed and closed a ,big gap. SCOTTS HILL, hustled along early to gain a clear lead, saved ground and was hard r nedit dohold BLUE HORIZON safe. The latter followed in closest pursuit of the winner*from the start, loomed boldly in midstretch but was not quite good enough. LEJERO had no apparent excuse in an even performance. MISENSATION made up some ground but could not seriously threaten. KEN-RUTH bore out on leaving the backstretch and dropped back steadily* thereafter. CON GAL was taken up after clipping another horses heels on leaving the backstretch. Scratched— 18507 Venetian Melody, 115; 19036 Dudley Dixie, 118; 18646 Attalla Miss, 115. TILE KING moved to the fore before going three-eighths, drew clear while saving ground and just failed to last. HERMAN L lomed boldly from betwen horses on entering the stretch but could not sustain his move. FOREVER MORE was never a factor. SEA TALE was probably best for he was forced to lose many lengths when blocked and taken up sharply a quarter mile out. WONDROUS HOUR found her best stride too late.
