BLUE VOLT was saved within striking distance of the leaders in the first six furlongs, then came fast on the outside when urged to catch INNISHOWEN in the last sixteenth and win going away. INNNISHOWEN set the early pace, continued gamely after being headed by PYRENEES on the backstretch and, saving ground on the stretch turn, again qot to the front to hold on well. STICKS was never far away and turned in a steady effort. RATHERAM drew up to the leaders at the mldstretch, then faded. PYRENEES tired. The others were always outrun.
