BRUCE kept under light restraint early, moved readily when called upon, wore down the leader from the outside before the final sixteenth and. widened the lead under punishment. LUNAR PARK, hard ridden from the start,_was forced to lose ground into the stretch when circling the leaders and proved best of the others. BROOMMAKER lacked a solid response in the stretch run but was along to outfinish FLYING TEDDY. The latter assumed command after settling into the stretch, then weakened in the final eighth. The latter drew clear shortly after the start, but faltered steadily in the final quarter mile. CAMEO had no response to pressure in the stretch run. KIND MOUD weakened. DADDY SHERWOOD, in hand behind the leaders while alnog the hedge, found room there when rallying into the stretch, wore down ANOTHER HEART in midstretch and was slowly edging away at the wire. ANOTHER HEART, under restraint for the first half mile, moved boldly outside the field to assume command into the stretch, then could not cope with the winner. MY LADY FAIR made a strong move leaving the far turn on the extreme outside of the field, raced very wide into the stretch and lost all chance. IM IN RED gained a short-lived lead between calls after 2 half mile, then weakened. BELLEEK, COCK BIRD and KUMAC tired.
