Primer, Armour Memorial Nominees Are Announced Juvenile Stakes Has 22 and 18 May Run in Preview for Classic ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 21. — Twenty-two of the Midwests fastest two-year-olds .and 18 of the nations ranking three-year-olds have been nominated for Arlingtons second week stakes, the 5,000 added Primer Stakes and the 0,000 added Laurance Armour Memorial, it was announced today by racing secretary Fred Burton. Fred W. Hoopers Alhambra, a fleet son of the speed sire, Olympia, and winner of his only start here, headed the list of 22 youngsters nominated for next Wednesdays five and one-half furlongs Primer. Also on the Prime roster were Rockmoore Farms Joliet Stakes front-stepping winner, Leather Button, William S. Millers namesake in reverse, Rellim S. W., T. A. Grissons Little Reaper and the J. L. Mc-Knight estates Bolero TJ. Hooper also nominated his crack three-year-old Greek Game, last years two-year-old champion in these parts, for the seven furlongs Armour, which is down for decision on Saturday, June 29. Greek Game recently won his 57 bow at Arlington and stepped into the running for this years three-year-old title. Calumet Farm named its Kentucky Derby winner, Iron Liege, and last years juvenile king, Barbizon, for next Saturdays Armour. Others nominated for the Armour, which is a preview of candidates for the 00,000 added Arlington Classic, are Louis Lee-Haggin n.s Manteau, William S. Tellers Better Bee, Brookfield Farms Irate, John L. Appelbaums Mister Jive, Bwamazon Farms Etonian, amonr others.
