Won handily; second and third driving. • HI AND FAIR alertly raced to the leaders from the outside early and drew out handily in the stretch run. JINGLER had good speed into the stretch and then weakened. OUR PRESIDENT worekd forwardly between horses and finished well. BIG CRASH came to the outside and made up. some ground in the drive. The latter, hustled in pursuit of the winner away from the gate, was steadied on the stretch turn, then came again, but was not good enough. HIGH LEAF stayed with the winner briefly after the start and raced evenly thereafter. ROMIN -HI outbroke the field, relinquished the lead almost immediately and had no excuse. WEAL OR WOE easily raced to the front on the turn, appeared to loaf after drawing clear and failed to respond when punished. EMORY MAL raced in the clear behind the top pair and finished well.
