Ivy Boy Joliet Nominee SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, HI., May 4. Trainer Arthur Mettz announced this morning that Ivy Boy, a juvenile owned by Mrs. M. L. Ivy, has been nominated for the Joliet Stakes, the first of many added money events for two-year-olds to be offered on the Chicago circuit this summer. The Joliet is a five-furlong test restricted to colts and geldings and will be offered on May 21, the first Saturday program presented by the Lincoln Fields Racing Association, staging its meeting at Washington Park. The Fort Worth, Texas, patrons Ivy Boy was shipped here from New Orleans Fair Grounds, where he defeated, among others, Mrs. Sam Rosens Black Sambo.
