Cherrys First Bucks Shins HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 4.— Trainer John B. Hatfield reported that Cherrys First, a promising juvenile filly, had bucked her shins and thus would miss her engagement in Wednesdays Havre de Grace Breeders Stakes, for Maryland-foaled two-year-olds. Cherrys First is by Vincentive out of the mare Cherrydale, whom Hatfield trained.
