Kentucky Colonels Hold Annual Banquet Friday Gen. Earle C. Clements and Wife To Be Honored; Notables to Attend CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 4. — The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels will hold its annual banquet in honor of the Commander in Chief, General Earle C. Clements, of Kentuck, and Mrs. Clements, Friday evening, May 6, at the Kentucky Hotel. Gen. J. Fred Miles, Kentucky State Racing Commission, is the national commanding general of the Colonels organization. General Miles and Mrs. Miles also will be hosts at a cocktail party on Friday evening at the Kentucky Hotel and at a buffet dinner at their farm on Saturday after the Diamond Jubilee running of the Kentucky Derby. Included in the list of guests for the three affairs are George Schoeneman, Commissioner of Internal Revenue; Matthew J. Connelly, secretary to President Truman; Robert Butler, Ambassador to Cuba, Ed Gardner, of the radio show, Duffys Tavern; Howard Hawks, motion picture producer; Leo McLaughlin, former mayor of Hot Springs, Ark.; Tom Clark, U.
