Start qood from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. TRIFLIN NEIBOR raced BROAD CROSS into defeat after half a mile and withstood the late rally of DOC STEARN. The latter was always prominent and hung after reaching the leader in the late stretch. DANDY PETE rallied too late to become a serious threat. BROAD CROSS showed speed to make the pace, but swerved while tiring through the stretch. SON 0 DIZ raced wide throughout. GOOD PICK was rank. CLARENCE tired early. SOLEDA quit to a walk. LONG GONE attained a commanding lead rapidly and held sway under urging. UNCLE DON, away alertly, but unable to hold the early lead, came again in the final stages and was going best of all at the end CHLOE reached contention soon after the start and appeared to tire slightly under urging through the stretch. FURBELOW showed an even effort. SPY QUEEN could not reach the top horses. INFAITH could not reach contention. The others were always outrun. FRESH BREEZE, always in close attendance to the pace, responded well to displace HEFTY, then held sway over SAM BERNARD. The latter raced forwardly from the start, but could not get to the top one. HEFTY held a commanding lead while under steadying restraint eariy, but flattened out when set down for the drive. PETEE DEE made up ground in the late stages. ALAN C. moved up between horses to reach contention, challenged from the outside and was not good enough while being carried wide. TELLANRUN caught tired horses. CONSPIRE was shuffled back early. DOUBLE BRANDY responded to threaten at the furlong pole, then was 5 not good enough. SWAP OUT flattened out after threatening in the early stretch. ALLURING quit badly after £* setting a swift early pace, the opening quarter of which was timed in :22%. GREAT SHUFFLE and ROY 0 » were always outrun. TRANCE SLEEPER, sluggish in the early stages, worked way between horses nicely and responded to good pressure to outfinish HARBINGER. The latter saved ground early, rallied from the outside to threaten, but was not good enough in the drive. ATAMAN raced forwardly throughout and held on fairly well. SIR JINX faltered after showing in front to the stretch. GALBRAE raced evenly while always well placed. MOMO FLAG showed nothing. POMPAGLE was outrun. WILLAMAR quit. ELECTRON drew clear after five furlongs and was under extreme pressure to outlast SCOTCH PLAINS. The latter, far back, as usual, in the early stages, circled the entire field and closed with a belated rush. EMPTY NOOSE reached contention in the early stretch and lacked a rally thereafter. ASTRAL, outrun early, was caught in close quarters in the early stretch while commencing a rally. BUNK tired. RESOJET was taken up soon after the start. FAIR ANN was outrun. GOOD SERVICE quit.
