Monte Parke Still Seeking Jockey to Ride Johns Joy CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 4. — Monte Parke, who is conditioning John Kinards Johns Joy for the Diamond Jubilee running of the Kentucky Derby, still was without a rider for the colt at a late hour today. Johnny Longden, originally scheduled to ride Johns Joy, was unable to make the trip here, due to a California commitment and a substitute jockey has not been signed. Owner Kinard and trainer Parke are in touch with several reinsmen and they expected to engage a rider tomorrow for Johns Joy.
