Margulis Designing Watch To Be Presented to Longden PORTLAND MEADOWS, Portland, Ore., May 13. — Jerome Margulis, jeweler and vice-president of the Portland Turf Association, announced that he will present another diamond-studded horseshoe watch to the leading rider at Portland Meadows. It is an annual custom for Margulis to design a watch for the top jockey. Bud Zollinger won the award at the last Meadows meeting. Margulis designed the watch which was presented to Johnny Longden to commemorate his 3,000th winner. He is doing another watch which Longden will receive on the occasion of his 4,000th winner.
