New York Notes BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 13. George Snow, of Jack Campbells staff, entered. Physicians Hospital to submit to a minor operation. During his absence from the Aqueduct entry booth James Neff will function there. Records show that for the first six days the attendance, as compared with last year, has risen 6.9 per cent and the handle 12.8 per cent. The Queens County Jockey Club has purchased a shiny new Cadillac ambulance, which went into service at Aqueduct this morning. It was reported on the back-stretch that the bid ambulance had been donated to James Meltons museum of ancient automobiles. • Counterpoint, hero of last season, is back in training and beirg pointed for a return to colors at Saratoga. Eugene Lutz reported the death of his filly Janet Maher. She broke a leg while .romping in a paddock and was destroyed. Because of the condition of the steeplechase and hurdling courses, todays schooling was postponed until tomorrow. J. J. Amiels Count Flame was shipped to Pimlico this morning to fulfill his engagement in Saturdays Preakness. Benny Green has been engaged to ride him.
