Ten-Horse Field Goes In Beulah Main Event Busy Liz/Thundertown/ Psychic Sis And No Vacancy Vie for Honors By HUGH J. McGUIRE Staff Correspondent BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 13. — The mid-week program arranged by racing .Secretary Gene Bury for this course is headed by the Grandview Inn, a test at one mile that has attracted 10 evenly matched rivals carrying claiming tags of, ,250. Because of the distance of the race the feature is given top billing although the six-furlong sixth race is fashioned for sprinters of ,000 value. With the exception of the sixth race in which nine are entered, limit fields of 10 are found in all the races. Under the conditions of the headliner, none of the entrants have been winners this year but several have shown that they are close to top performances by excellent trials. The end of the test may find Busy Liz, Thundertown, No Vacancy and Psychic Sis fighting it out for top honors.- In the supporting races, horses "that have started previously at this meeting are appearing for the second time under silks here. Some of these have been winners here already over sloppy footing and they will be attempting to show their prowess over a racing strip that may be different from what they last encountered. These include D. Wades Tyndareus, a winner here at one mile who will endeavor to re- peat at the same distance in the eighth race, and C. N. Salernos Salsand who will try for a second victory at six furlongs in the fifth race. Botten Bucket Stables First Mission, third to Salsand in then-recent encounter, appears nicely placed in the fourth race.
