Almy Suffolk Missionary SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 13.— Steward William Almy, Jr., will be absent from his post here from Wednesday through Saturday. Acting in the interest of the Suffolk Downs management, Almy will proceed to Pimlico to interest owners of Preakness candidates in the Yankee Handicap to be run here June 17. Racing secretary O, E. Pons will fill in during Almys absence from the stewards stand.
