Weather Stops Maywood Again MAYWOOD PARK, Maywood, III., May 2. — Bad weather played havoc again last night with the nightly schedule of harness racing at the west suburban half-mile oval. For the second consecutive night, vice-president and general manager, Al De Meo, had to put out the "No Race" sign. With more and more horses arriving daily at Maywood Park, the management, however, is hopeful that with the expected break in the weather the interesting programs carded for next week by racing secretary Ted Leonard will attract many of the sports faithful followers since there was a definite uptrend in attendance and mu-tuel play during the first 10 nights of I racing.
