Stewards Rulings SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 2. — As a result of an unfavorable report from the state chemist covering a saliva and urine test, the local stewards issued the following ruling: "On the report of the state chemist that the saliva and urine samples of the horse Agitate, winner of the third race, Thursday, April 30, contained a drug of the nature of procaine, it is hereby ordered that trainers Phile Reu-ter and Normalea Reuter be suspended and their cases referred to the Illinois Racing Board for appropriate action. The entry of all horses trained or owned by trainers Phil Reuter and Normalea Reuter is refused pending the action of the Illinois Racing Board. It is further ordered that the purse of the third race, April 30, be redistributed in the following manner: First, Fair Laurie; second, Pops Pal; third, Bondor; fourth, Accelerator, and that the horse Agitate be disqualified from any participation in the purse. The pari-mutuel betting on the race is not affected." SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., . May 2. — In a ruling here today the Sportsmans Park stewards issued the following statement: "It is recommended that the application of John Louis Battaglia, age 33, of 4298* Tu-junga, North Hollywood, Calif., for license as trainer, be denied on grounds of false application and because he is an undesirable character. It is further recommended that Battaglia be denied the privileges of all tracks under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Racing Board." CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 2. — The stewards posted the following ruling here today. "Jockey A. Popara is suspended 10 days for rough riding in the seventh race, April 30."
