BUBBLEY, steadied while in hand to the last three-eighths mile, saved ground entering the stretch and, finishing gamely under urging, wore down CERISE REINE in the last sixteenth. CERISE REINE stumbled slightly at the break, recovered under good handling and went to the front after three-eighths mile, set the pace to the stretch under good rating and held on willingly during the drive, but was unable to withstand BUBBLEY. ARAB ACTRESS took an early lead, dropped back and raced nearest CERISE REINE until inside the stretch, then held on well in a good effort, but was unable to stay with the top pair. WINDWHISPER, far back to the last quarter mile, finished strongly, but could not get to the leaders. WINGS 0 MORN swerved repeatedly before entering the stretch, then bore out badly in the drive, losing ail chance. SLIPPY failed to stay after showing early speed. RICA ROSIE began sluggishly and was unable to reach serious contention. GOOD CALL was through early. COLD HEART raced wide. BIDDY JANE had a rough trip and pulled up sore. GRAY CHALLENGE took an early lead, set the pace until inside the stretch under steady handling, responded well when set down in the drive but could not hold the winner, although much the best of the others. THE GINK saved ground from the outset and was unable to reach the top pair when briskly ridden through the stretch. OUR CHALLENGE tired after showing early speed JET ACE raced nearest GRAY CHALLENGE to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive. GAY HUNTER was never prominent. DANCE NSING had no mishap.
