GLEANED, away sluggishly, worked his way forward to obtain a contending position when straightened for the stretch run and wore down HAM HOCKS in the concluding stride. HAM HOCKS held a clear lead when set down for the drive, tired when punished and was unable to hold the winner. STALK closed with good courage and probably would prefer a longer dinstance. GRACIOUS ONE, much used early, had little left. DOVER DOLL failed to stay. LASTI PUSTI had no mishap. GOLDEN GREEK, fractious at the post, was through early during the running. SWIFT SWORD forged to the front after a half mile, attempted to bear in during the late stages and was unable to hold the advantage. FULL FLIGHT was in close quarters during the early running and finished determinedly when clear. OCLIROCK lacked the necessary rally. WAR POINTER was always outrun.
