Van Crosby to Garden State SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 9. — Van Crosby, recently purchased by Perne L. Grissom for 0,000 at the dispersal sale of the Jerry McCarthy Stable, is being shipped into Garden State Park along with five other racers who perform for Grissoms Duntreath Farm. Van Crosby was a stakes winner last year and turned in several good efforts over this course.
