LATE BREEZE was never too far from the pace, and although going rather wide on the stretch turn, finished strongly in the middle of the track to win going away under urging. ORMES TOWN went to the front at once and had no excuse, weakening near the end. YOUR LETTA moved up nearing the stretch turn and went well thereafter. DREAM OMOLEY seemed to be in rather tight quarters near the finish. KEE DEE bore out on the first turn and INFIN0TT0 and SHATTERED went out with her, losing all chance. COTTON BUD was always close up in the early running, and coming steadily on the outside of BURG LADY in the stretch, wore her down to win narrowly. The latter went to the front on the backstretch, saved ground, and held on well. PONDER PAT displayed fair speed and went evenly to the finish. GALLANT TUCK made up ground in the last quarter. McCREIGHT responded when ready after going three furlongs, and catching VICKI DIANA at midstretch, drew out thereafter to win handily. The latter was rushed to the front early and, although racing well, was no match for the winner and was doing her best to save second place. BIGTIME GAL was unable to keep up with the pace, but finished fairly well. RED LED tired. The others were outpaced. LAD0LEE slipped through on the inside of MON BAISER during the run down the backstretch and pulled away after entering the stretch but was shaken up near the end. JEAN THE JOKER had good speed from the start and came again in the last sixteenth FORGOTTEN MISS moved up on the backstretch and went well to the finish. C0NVAIR closed ground. MON BAISER tired. BLUE RUNNER was never too far from the pace and, coming strongly on the outside nearing the stretch turn, wore down SPEEDY JET in the stretch and was drawing out under pressure at the end. SPEEDY JET alternated with BENTONS LUCY in making the pace and drew away from the latter in the stretch. EASTER AIRLINE made up some ground, but did not threaten the first two. BENTONS LUCY tired. PRINCESS ANN moved strongly on the outside nearing the stretch turn and, although racing very wide on the turn, wore down JUMP TUNE to win in drive. JUMP TUNE had good speed from the start and held on in determined fashion when it came to an issue. ILLSTAY had the most early speed, but weakened in the stretch. UNCLE JOHN went very wide on the first turn, but raced fairly well thereafter. AMERICAN PLAN was unable to keep up. MARABOUT raced very wide on the first turn and lost all chance. EN FLEUR was off well and sent through an opening on the inside after going an eighth, saved ground to draw away on the backstretch, but was required to do her best near the finish when WHIRLAHEAD challenged. The latter improved his position when urged and, hustled through the stretch, was gaining. ETELKA was outrun early and made up some ground in the stretch. DR. FELIX had early speed and held on fairly well. ECHO ROCK was badly outrun early and made up some ground when too late. BLUNT was unable to keep up. ROYALS LAST had some early speed. THIRD DIVISION headed the field after going a short distance and stole away on the backstretch, then saved ground on the stretch turn, but was all out to win narrowly. NITRO FIRE dropped back after going a quarter, then moved up and, although racing wide on the stretch turn, finished strongly and just failed to get up. STARBOROUGH dropped back after going half the distance, then came again but was forced wide by NITRO FIRE in the stretch. ROSAMUNDA II. made up some ground. The latter made a strong run on the outside nearing the last turn and although losing ground in the stretch, finished with good courage. WISEVIEW was outrun early, but came resolutely in the late stages. STRADA was required to ease back while racing on the inside around the far turn but came again in a good effort. BLUE AGENT tired.
