BIG REWARD broke alertly and was placed under steadying restraint to the final quarter mile, moved on the leader at the furlong pole and gained command under stout pressure. MISS CROSS assumed command soon after the start, drew clear and moved to the inside, responded to pressure and held on stubbornly. AL0RAN, a forward factor, rallied mildly under urging. BEDA BULL came outside on the final turn but was unable to menace. SEVEN PILLARS weakened. GOTTADANCE passed tiring horses. BORN TO WIN had no mishap. SUNSHADE flattened out. The others were outrun. PEGASUS II. gained a forward position at once, remained close up while in hand to the final turn, assumed command when roused and drew out under a hand ride. ALAS came between horses saving ground on the stretch turn, closed willingly, but was not good enough. HASTY TIGER was bothered at the first turn, worked his way up on the outside to the final quarter mile, tried to come between horses and was caught in a jam and eliminated. B0L0 LASS raced close to the pace and held on tenaciously in the drive. EVER L0VIN showed a good effort. FIRST SWING weakened. GREAT MORNING raced STARK TWINS into defeat and flattened out when the drive came. FLEET ROMAN showed nothing. STAR OF DUBLIN bore out on the first turn and was unable to recover lost ground. The latter drew clear before a quarter mile, was placed under steadying restraint, skirted the inner rail into the stretch, held on gamely, but was unable to stave off the winner. TIN TWIST, taken back off the pace and steadied, came through along the inside, responded willingly, but was not good enough. THE PHEASANT caught tiring horses with a late rush. ACADEMY AWARD raced WIDE REQUEST into submission, held sway to the final furlong and tired. EMPTY POCKETS went evenly. SWAMP THEATRE was through early. FLY AROUND was outrun. WIDE REQUEST stopped. The latter, in closest attendance to the pace, rallied under a drive and was pressing the winner through the final sixteenth. CANT PLEASE broke alertly, drew clear before a furlong, skirted the inner rail, shortened stride and was no match for the challengers. TRAINED raced close to the pace for a quarter mile and failed to stay under a drive. SWIFT STEVE dropped back on the far turn, rallied mildly, but was unable to menace. The others were outrun. EPIC KING opened a comfortable lead soon after the start, increased his advantage down the backstretch, came to the middle of the track for the drive and weakened. AFRICANCE moved close to the leader down the backstretch, was forced to ga wide while challenging and weakened. ARMY PAL closed ground in the late stages. TRIUMPHANT raced close to the pace and lacked a rally. BO-CAP had no mishap. SUPREMES BUB, a forward factor for a half mile, began weakening and drifted out badly on the final turn.
