To Offer Palmer Memorial BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 9. — Racing secretary John B. Campbell announced today that his next condition book at Belmont Park would include the Joe H. Palmer Memorial Handicap, honoring the late turf editor of the Herald-Tribune, who died last autumn. The Memorial will be a 5,000 overnight event at six furlongs on the main course and will be presented on May 19.
