SWEET GODDESS rushed forward on the inside to wrest command rounding the turn, drifted slightly wide increasing advantage and appeared to be doing her best. FIDDLERS GIRL was a prominent factor, came out slightly for the drive and finished gamely to beat CHILOG. The latter dueled for the pace racing on the outside and gradually weakened. JIMMINY JOY C. was under steady pressure, lost ground outside horses and could not get up. MISS GRETCHEN saved ground and rallied mildly under punishment. HUGO YOU GO was outrun. GRAY BELLE lacked her usual speed away from the gate. JAMES BEAUTY was contending for the lead between horses when he stumbled at the far turn and lost rider. LUCKY LADY rallied in company with the winner on the final turn, but could not match his stride in the stretch run. LAST BRIGADE was rated with the pace, opened a clear lead when ready, but faltered in the final drive. INEZMUCH was well placed and saved ground, but did not respond. FLYING J CIRCUS was steadied when-unable to stay with PRINCE REGENT, after a quarter mile, came to the outside of "** the latter and finished gamely between his rivals. INCRIMINATION was urged forwardly between horses after a half-mile, could not gain on the winner at the end, but put away STARS SHINE. The latter was hard ridden in pursuit of HARASS on the final turn and weakened. YOULL DO picked up tiring horses. WITCH DOCTOR was not able to keep up early. RESILIENT was outrun. ROYAL BAY GEM, trailing the field and slow to settle in stride, picked up speed down the backstretch, saved ground to the final turn, then swung outside horses, was carried to the middle of the track at the head of the stretch, but closed gamely and was rapidly going away in the last sixteenth. PARK DANDY was rated in a contending position, rallied between horses on the stretch turn and finished Determinedly to best BETTER GOODS. The latter was reserved off the early pace, lest ground moving strongly on the final turn and lacked a closing rally. COUNTY CLARE easily went to the front when DANDOLO faltered, held on gamely under punishment to midstretch and weakened. HUESO raced wide outside the top pair, did not respond when called upon and weakened. SOCIAL OUTCAST was outrun. DANDOLO had his usual speed and quit.
