Wilwyn Takes Victor Wild Stakes for 18th Success LONDON, England, May 9. Reuters. — Robert Bouchers five-year-old Wilwyn, who won the Washington D. C. International last October, returned to winning form here to day in the Victor Wild Stakes run over 12 furlongs at Kempton Park. Wilwyn won without being challened by eight lengths from W. Collinges Triple Plate with C. H. Dracoulliss Tica Tica II., third, four lengths further away in a field of five runners. Wilwyn, who was ridden by E. Mercer, started as a 1 to 9 favorite. Wilwyns smooth victory was the eighteenth of his career. He may be given a race at Birmingham before going in the Coronation Cup at Epsom on June 5. Maj. Dermot McCalmonts Durante became the fifth horse to complete the "jubilee double" when he won the ,924 Kempton Park Great Jubilee Handicap at 10 furlongs. Durante, ridden by P. Evans, won by a head in a photo finish, with the Duke of Norfolks Caerlave Rock. R. Sharpless Chavey Down was three lengths away in third place in the field of 13.
