Ohio House Concurs in Racing Tax Bill Amendments COLUMBUS, O., May 9.— The Ohio House of Representatives has concurred with Senate amendments to the Clark bill increasing the states taxes on pari-mutuel wagering. The House vote was 100 to 5. According to the terms of the measure, the over-all "track" take will be increased from 10 to 12% per cent for running races and from 10 to 14 per cent for harness races. However, terms of the bill also would hike the average percentage of the tax for the state from 2.2 to about 5 per cent. Proponents of the measure claim that the bill, if enacted into law, would increase the states share of the "take" about ,000,000.
