Mulloy Gains Third Round v BECKENHAM, England, June 9 UP. Gardnar Mulloy, of Miami, Fla., reached the third round in mens singles today at the Kent Lawn tennis championships by defeating Australias Peter Mulloy, 6-4, 6-1, in a match played in a drizzling rain. The 40-year-old Americans passing shots proved the difference, as both players slipped frequently on the damp grass. In another second-round match, Andy Paton, of Ann Arbor, Mich., was eliminated by Bob Howe, of Australia, 6-4, 6-1. - ;
