Won driving; second and third the same. FLEET DREAM was always a good contender and, coming very fast near the end, caught SUNSET STAR in the closing strides to win drawing away under hard riding. SUNSET STAR drew out from the field after going a furlong, but weakened when urged in the stretch and was unable to resist the winner. MR: NEAL was fairiy weil up throughout and finished steadily. AHSA BEAUTY, outrun early, was racing well at the end. DEPTH O. tired. The others failed to be dangerous. Scratched 19430 Canary Island, 109; Babynole, 109. RIOT saved ground while improving his position and, continuing next to the rail in the stretch, forged, to the front an eighth out and increased his advantage thereafter to win easily. CHICKS DELIGHT saved some ground in the stretch, bore out slightly in the final sixteenth, but went well to the finish. ROAMING OSCAR, while failing to threaten for the leadership, went steadily all the way. RE-SHUFFLE headed COURTS MAUDE rounding the stretch turn, then tired. COURTS MAUDE tired. Won easily; second and third driving. BRIGHT LARK went to the front at once from an inside post position and, shaking off IMPERIAL ACE and withstanding a challenge from ROMAN SENATOR, easily drew out in the final sixteenth. The latter was required to race wide and lost ground on the stretch turn, then made a fair bid, but was doing his best to save second place. MR. PRESIDENT moved up on the outside nearing the stretch turn, then cut to the inside for the final run and won going gamely. IMPERIAL ACE weakened in the last eighth. LAHEIM made up some ground. GET FOR HOME dashed to contention early, but was required to ease. nearing the stretch turn. PANMURE was unable to keep up. JEFFREY J. S. tired. FOURTH RACE 6 FURLONGS. KENTUCKY KID went to the front at once and, gaining a good advantage after racing a short distance, displayed good speed thereafter, but was ridden out at the end to hold RIDGEFLEET. The latter was closest up most of the way and, finishing strongly under hard urging, was gaining. . CHAMPIONS BOY improved his position while racing on the outside and was going well at the end. LALLA ROOKH was badly outrun to the stretch turn, then closed much ground to finish fast MACKINAC was unable to threaten for the leadership andtired in the stretch. THE BLUE MISS was in rather close quarters while racing next to the rail iir the first part, but was saved, and was then unable to find an opening on the stretch turn, but came to the outside to move up fast and get the front in the last sixteenth to win going away. TORCH OF IRAN had good early speed and raced SPRINGBUCK ino defeat and withstood a challenge from RUSTY LYN, but was not good enough for the winner. RUSTY LYN made a good run on the outside nearing the stretch turn and raced well thereafter. SUGAR SUE was always well up. LADOLEE was unable to keep up. ARAB ACTRESS went to the front at once and, opening up on her field early, was never fully extended, her rider taking several glances back during the stretch run. THE EAGLE soon reached second place and, after appearing to stumble nearing the far turn, continued well to be easily best of the others. FORCE OF ARMS finished steadily to have no trouble in disposing of the remainder. DANCE NSING saved ground where possible, but was not good enough. MID CENTURY had some early speed. He appeared lame after pulling up. PIELETTAWAY caught DEEP WONDER after entering the stretch to take a short lead, and then saved ground but was unable to last. VALIDITY was off poorly, then rushed up nearing the stretch turn to become a strong contender, but lacked the necessary power when it came to a drive. BILL PAC finished fairly well. BOBBY-BOO was rated within striking distance in the early runnnig and, coming strongly on the outside after entering the stretch, headed the field an eighth cut and was hustled along at the end. CARLS ABBIE dropped back after breaking well and was outrun to" midstretch, then came strongly and was gaining. APASAY dropped back gradually and was in last place on the" stretch turn, then moved up and was unable to find an opening and came to the outside to close strongly. GALLANT ANSWER weakened after taking a short lead on .the stretch turn. SONGLET rushed up on the outside soon after the start to head the field on the far turn, then cut to the inside in the stretch, but was used up from her early effort. FLIGHT AGAIN had early speed.
