Run Mile Races at TliistleDown THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 9. -According to racing secretary Fred Burton, races at a distance of one mile will be revived -at this track in the near future. The first event at this route is scheduled to be run on Saturdays card. Burtons purpose in arranging races at this middle distance is to give trainers an opportunity to bring their runner up to the longer routes gradually. The ThistleDown track record for one mile is held by the filly Harpen Belle who cover cl eight furlongs in 1:37 in August, 1933.
