Announce Supporting Card For Marciano-Charles Go NEW YORK, N. Y., June 9 UP. The International Boxing Club today announced a card of seven supporting bouts for the Rocky Marciano-Ezzard Charles heavyweight championship fight at Yankee Stadium on June 17. In six-round matches, Joe Cannon, of Washington, will meet Joe Rowan, of Philadelphia; Toxie Hall, of Chicago, will fight Chubby Wright, of Reading, Pa.; Billy Smith, of Oakland, Calif., will fight Gene Jones, of New York, and Ike Thomas, of New York, will box Howie Turner, of Brooklyn, N. Y. Kenny Yates, of Miami, Fla., will meet Elie Rogalli, of New York; Frank Flood, of New York, will. fight Johnny Hoy, of Boston, and Carl Kohlmeier, of Brooklyn, will meet Jack Taylor, of Newark, N. J., in four-round bouts. Two of the preliminaries will match boxers who currently are working with Marciano and Charles as sparring partners. Gannon and Hall are in the Marciano camp at Grossinger, N. Y.f while Wright and Jones are two of Charles spar-mates at Monticello, N. Y.
