Re-Elect Jordan President Of Illinois Breeders Assn. Pick Denemark, Pershall, Stelle As Divisional Vice-Presidents LINCOLN FIELDS, Crete, 111., June 9. D. Elmo Jordan was re-elected president of the Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders Association at the organizations annual meeting in the club house at Lincoln Fields last night. The association voted to have three divisional vice presidents and elected the following: Emil Denemark northern, Samuel E. Pershall central, former Governor Stelle southern. William S. Miller, member of the Illinois Racing Board, was elected a director of the breeders organization, along with Harold Ostle, who was re-elected, and Joe Mikan, new member of the board. Holdover members of the board of directors are: Earl H..McMahon, chairman; Charles Miller, Paul Serdar, chairman of the Illinois Racing Board; Vincent B. Mullins, Delmar W. Carroll, and Frank E. Butzow. Numerous subjects pertaining to the affairs of the association were discussed, including a program to establish an Illinois Futurity at Hawthorne, whose managing director, Robert F. Carey, an honorary member of the breeders organization, has cooperated with the breeders in conducting their annual Dinner Stakes each fall for several years.
