War of Roses to Belmont DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 9. Mrs. J. R. H. Thourons War of Roses, beaten favorite in "the Kent last week end after having won the Jersey Stakes the preceding Saturday, left today for Belmont Park. The Tudor Minstrel colt will keep an engagement in the rich Belmont Stakes, returning to the local scene after the running. In the absence of War of Roses, there is a possibility that Christmas Gift will represent the stable in the local Leonard Richards. ,
