Cartowna to Seek Imp Gap THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 9. The influx of Canadian thorougn-breds, expected at ThistleDown for the five -stakes which closed last night, is about to start with a three-horse draft from Woodbine at Toronto leading the way. C. M. . Withers of that city is bringing a small string to Cleveland over the week end headed by the four -year-old filly Cartowna. A winner of three purses in 1953 and second and third in recent races at Woodbine, Cartowna will be a candidate for the ,000 Imp Handicap scheduled to be decided here "on Saftrrflay.June 26.
