Plan Big Book for Sire LOS ANGELES, Calif., June 26. Blue Reading, who like Interpretation, Grey Reading and other good ones, is by J. H. Ryans sire, Reading n., was purchased some weeks ago by Mrs. Annette W. Ryan from Clement L. Hirsch and placed in the stud at Northridge Farm. The long-striding stallion was given only six mares. "Hell have a big book next year," said Ryan, explaining that the season was too far along when the horse was retired to assign more mares to him.
