Fillies will take the spotlight Monday at Arlington Park. A band of 10 has been entered in the Cinderella, seven-furlong test for three year olds, which carries a ,000 purse. Racing secretary Frederick G. "Pat" Farrell carded the Cinderella as a prep to next Saturdays 5,000 added Cleopatra Handicap. As a co-feature on Mondays eight-race card, the Arden Shores, six-furlong test for four-year-olds and up, has attracted seven. The Arden Shores is a claiming event, priced from 0,000 down. Three fillies boasting respectable earnings in their two-year-old campaign, Jay Jay Gee, Golly, and Spy Magic, will carry equal top weight of 118 pounds in the Cinderella. Two others, Blue Violin and la Ronde, get in at 112. There are two entries in the sprint. Spy Magic and La Ronde will go for owner Clifford Mooers, while P. and L. F. Holtons Alifair and Mr. and Mrs. R. Nallys Rays Surprise make up another coupling. Spy Magic started once in sfout company at Lincoln Fields a few weeks ago and wound up fourth. She won one allowance sprint in her eight starts this year and failed to finish in the money in either the Kentucky Oaks or Ashland Stakes. Jockey Johnny Heckmann has been assigned to Spy Magic for Mondays sprint. The Spy Song-r-Battle Magic filly will be remembered in these parts for her victory in a division of the Mademoiselle Stakes last summer. La Ronde Winner of Last Two La Ronde won her last two starts, a claiming event; at Churchill Downs, and more recently a six-furlong affair at Lincoln Fields. That represents the best the Buster Perhobo Lass could do this year. Mrs. Elizabeth Brisbanes Golly finished sixth to Blue Violin and Cosentina in a sprint at Crete last month. It was the Alorter Timely Tune fillys first outing this year. Kenny Church will ride Golly. Jay Jay Gee, owned by Woodview Stable and trained by N. A. McMaster, finished out of the money in tvo Lincoln Fields sprints. Last year the Littletown Alwick Lass was a familiar figure in Arlington and Washington juvenile stakes, although never finishing in the money. Veteran Johnny Adams will be aboard Jay Jay Gee. G. A. Cavanaughs Blue Violin has been in the money in all four starts this year. She will be under rein to Daye Erb in Mondays affair. The daughter of First Fiddle Blue Lu won her only Crete appearance; she came off a third to Fascinator and Queen Hopeful in Churchill Downs Kentucky Oaks. The Holton-Nally entry each has had one start at Lincoln Fields. Alifair won over Page of Roses at six furlongs, while Rays Surprise finished far back in her attempt. Alifair is unbeaten in three starts, having won both 53 engagements. James Emerys Cosentina has an allowance win and three thirds in eleven starts this year, while Page of Roses record shows a second and third in six starts. Each failed in lone Crete starts. Dixianas Blue Hawaii won at Lincoln Fields last month and captured an earlier sprint from Blue Violin and Page of Roses at Louisville.
