An extremely attractive card has been arranged for Monday, the twenty-first day of this 44-day session. Racing secretary and handicapper Eugene W. Bury has a program well varied in the distances of the events and the cheaper platers, some of the better of the latter sort, and one allowance test forms the card. As the seventh race, the allowance test will be the feature offering and, as is the case in all of the races, the maximum starting number of 12 has been drawn on the overnight. In fact, this spotlight andt-traction is the only race that doesnt have an also-eligible list, but it is not likely that there will be any withdrawals and a full contingent will meet starter Tom Brown. Titled the White Horse Tavern, the staging is at the popular one and one-sixteenth miles distance. Three-year-olds and older horses are eligible according to the conditions and they will be vying for a portion of a ,300 purse. The group is made up of J. J. Rigneys Paid in Full, P. L. Rices Little Less, the Mrs. M. Rinke and S. I. Crew entry of Forest Belle and Extravaganza, H. Fields Delux John, Leo Snodgrass Sea Sweet, L. Hicks English Man, Mr. and Mrs. William Lapes Hot Footed, George McFarlands Frisky Jimmy, F. M. Ashbys Chips Floppy, C. Breedloves Assemblage and M. K. Essigs Jason. Sea Sweet was beaten but two necks while finishing third in the Fort Mitchell Country Club Purse last Thursday. Mrs. N. L. Browns Susan Lee C. was the winner under the direction of jockey R. Westfall, and Mrs. F. Baumans Jerky and jockey Anyon held down the place awards via the Cook camera. This aged Sky Raider mare isa much-improved campaigner this year. She was claimed by her present owner for ,500 the first time out this year at Beulah Park. She won that race, was moved up to allowance company the next time out and was beaten but a nose by Cross End. Her next endeavor was a sixth to such as Luciete, Joyce Ann B. and the like in her first try over this course. She will undoubtedly be dangerous amid this band on Monday.- Forest Belle appears able to hold interest as a part of the entry. Though this Okapi filly customarily runs with a price tag attached, her one effort after shipping "here from Churchill Downs was impressive. She finished a worthy third to. The Blue Goose and Fiddlin Mac. That was on the seventh of June and the short restto this time may be what is needed for another winning performance. s 1 j j, f ; t : 1 1 i ; I ; i
