UNRESTRICTED moved up from off tne.pace to loom as a threat on the final turn, but was not good enough. MARINE GROWTH challenged mildly on the final turn and weakened. RED PASS made up ground with a belated rush on the extreme outside. BOSTON PARTY was through after a half mile. STONEY CREEK went evenly. THE PHEASANT, a forward factor, held on tenaciously. TOY HUNT bettered position along the inside. FAIRIAM moved up on the outside to gain a forward position and had nothing- left for the drive. ELFISH went evenly. PERFECT SWEEP was through early. BIG OAK retired steadily.
