SENOR COATI, under restraint in the early part, proved position gradually, engaged the leaders in the stretch and drew out under pressure. LADD moved boldly the far turn to challenge HELIANTHUS, assumed the lead in midstretch and was unable to resist the winner. :LIANTHUS sprinted to the lead on the first turn, was taken under restraint and tired in the final furlong. BLE RISK had early speed. PERFECT GEM could not threaten. BELMONT BREEZE WAS WITHDRAWN HEN EXAMINED BY THE VETERINARIAN IN THE PADDOCK. ALL WAGERS WERE ORDERED REFUNDED.
