DORAGOR, held under light restraint early, was eased to the outside midway around the turn to make her bid and, while lugging in, wore down PAPER WARE inside the final furlong. DEBS DEVIL was never far back, saved some ground and could not menace the winner. PAPER WARE had speed, saved ground much of the way and gave way rapidly when challenged. DANDY JOHN raced a trifle wide and, while improving his racing position, could not gain on the top one. CHICARO BOY was used up early in vying for the lead. WOODY GLEN broke in a tangle. The latter was never a great distance back, also raced wide and, after wresting command between calls in the stretch, held on stubbornly. SUSANS PET faltered only slightly after racing with the top flight to midstretch. ROBERT DEAR made up some ground, but could not seriously threaten. ANGEL SLIPPER tired from his early effort.
