Raise Purses at Ak-Sar-Ben AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Neb., June 22. Last week racing secretary Kenneth W. Mcintosh released the third issue of condition books which covers the final 11 days of this meeting. However, -on Monday with the new book going into effect for Tuesdays racing, general manager J. J. Isaacson announced increases in purses for practically every race in the book in keeping with Ak-Sar-Bens pplicy of granting larger prizes as the mutuel handle merits. The only events in the book failing-to be raised were the minimum claiming! price affairs at sprint distances.
